DR JEKYLL & MR HYDE

1888. Victorian London is under attack. Within the thick Fitzrovia fog and dimly lamp-lit streets lurks an evil predator. Who is this "sneering Satan"? Meanwhile, the upstanding Dr Henry Jekyll determines to prove his theories of the “duality of man" through dangerous experimentation.

Performed by an ensemble cast of just six actors, this fast-paced production brings Stevenson’s dark and dangerous Victorian world vividly to life through inventive storytelling, atmospheric staging and dynamic multi-roling performance.

DTC's exciting new stage adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's Victorian gothic masterpiece is touring alongside Macbeth and A Christmas Carol as part of DTC’s ‘Revision on Tour’.

Chilling and delightful
— Morning Star
At last! DTC have finally given GCSE students the stage adaptation of J&H we have all been crying out for. The characters, the key quotes, Stevenson’s London...leapt from the page. The kids loved it.
