We are currently in rehearsals for this year’s tour of ‘A Christmas Carol’. With Louise Faulkner as Scrooge and Belle and Ryan Philpott…as all the other characters. Tour venues include The Groundlings Theatre in Portsmouth, St Margaret’s House in Bethnal Green, Swindon Arts Centre and once again The Towngate Theatre, Basildon.
With students and teachers returning back to schools in September, DTC’s diary is starting to fill up.
Artistic Director Ryan Philpott and producer Mel Philpott are currently completing an application for Arts Council England funding for an exciting new theatre project, as ‘Oliver Twist 2021’ is officially announced.
After the success of our Arts Council England funded Macbeth project earlier in 2019, we decided to take the show on the road around the UK.
